This patch is made of an embroidery which is embroidered on a solid material and edged with an embroidered border.

The yin-yang symbol, which in Chinese Taijitu literally means "symbol of the very greatest extremity", is a sign used in Chinese Daoism and also New Confucianism for the Taiji conceived as the origin of the world. The symbol was also common among the Celts, Etruscans and Romans.
